MikroTik setup is KES 1,500 one-off for the initial router, portal, VPN, and workspace onboarding.

What is the monthly cost?

If Pawa collects customer payments, the platform charge is 5% of collected sales. If you use your own PayBill/Till, the system invoices Starter or Business automatically at month end.

Do I need a MikroTik router?

Yes. Pawa is built around MikroTik hotspot and RouterOS workflows.

Can Pawa manage a private router?

Yes. The recommended hosted setup uses WireGuard so the VPS can reach private routers securely.

Do you provide MikroTik setup scripts?

Yes. Onboarding can generate a paste-ready RouterOS bootstrap script or apply setup automatically when the router API is reachable.

What is a workspace?

A workspace is the business dashboard for routers, plans, vouchers, customers, payments, invoices, and onboarding.

Can I manage vouchers and multiple routers?

Yes. Pawa supports voucher-style access, hotspot customers, and more than one router record per business.

Can I import existing users?

Pawa includes import flows for router data such as hotspot users, plans, WiFi networks, and vouchers.

What happens after setup payment?

The setup invoice unlocks the workspace modules. From onboarding, you connect MikroTik, configure packages, deploy the portal, and run a test payment before going live.

How do payouts work?

For Pawa collection, the dashboard tracks gross collections, platform fee, available balance, and payout requests. Own PayBill operators collect directly to their shortcode.
